This review is from: The Celtic Twilight (Forgotten Books) (Paperback)
This is a good collection of stories, tales, direct experiences - call them what you will. We are not often told by Yeats which of the stories he actually believes. You will find that in other writings about him, not by him. We are, however, given more than a few intriguing details of some that he personally experienced.
If you are studying the ancient Fairy Faith, or indeed any aspect of Celtic folklore, this is a necessary addition to the reading list. |
