Celtic Twilight 3: Lullabies

I received Celtic Twilight 3 Lullabies as a gift and have been playing it for my son since his birth. He's now a year old and has come to expect it's soothing sounds at naptime and bedtime. If the CD isn't handy, I only have to sing "Castle of Dromore" to him, and he drifts off to sleep. You would think having heard the same music several times a day for a year, I would be sick of it...but I'm not, and we both enjoy it tremendously. I have recommended this CD to several friends and have given the CD as shower gifts.

I purchased this CD because the first two Celtic Twilight CDs were wonderful. We listened to this CD moments after the birth of our first child. Each hospital attendant that heard the CD wanted to know about the beautiful music. Some tracks still bring tears to my eyes while I am holding my son as he falls asleep. I believe this will always be my favorite CD. This would be a perfect gift for any expecting or new parent.

This CD is great for curing insomnia or just relaxing. This music is just beautiful. There are many traditional Irish & Scottish lullabyes as well as new ones. All of the songs are beautiful, but I especially love The Castle of Dromore, Christina, Suantrai, and Lullabye. You won't be disappointed with this CD.

Having just gone through the death of a close family member and the final exams for my first semester at college, it's unnecessary to say that I was stressed and worn out. When looking around for something soothing to listen to I came across this CD. It's done wonders for my mood and I've found that I particularly enjoy A Nightingale's Lullaby.

This is one of the most pleasing lullaby CDs we own. My daughter (and I) listen to it at least two times a day because she naps to it, and I have yet to grow weary of it. The songs are gorgeous. I enjoy hearing them as much as she does.

My third son was born with a terrible birth defect which gave him only a fifty percent chance of survival. He spent his first three months in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Every baby was hooked to numerous monitors which seemed to constantly beep or ring. This CD of Celtic Lullabies was so nice in contrast to the noises of the NICU. The nurses loved the CD, and more importantly, our son loved it too. Happy ending: he came home to a different type of noise; his two older brothers happily reaching new decibels. I am donating a copy of this CD to the unit along with a portable player. Of course, I am keeping our copy as we rely on it for an important part of our bedtime routine.

I bought this CD for my granddaughter when she was a few months old. I'm not sure she has ever heard the entire CD, as she always fell asleep by the second or third song. Before Celtic Lullabies, it was hard to get her to lay down for a nap unless I stayed with her, but this music was a great replacement and she even looked forward to it. It was so relaxing for me to listen to while I caught up on chores as she slept. I somehow lost the CD when she was around three and a half years old (she's now almost five), but want to replace it. I know she'll love it today and I want to save it for her and her future children.

This is enchanting music. As I write, my three children are asleep on blankets beside me, having been lulled to sleep by "John o'Dreams" and "Castle of Dromore". What started as a rowdy family "slumber party" ended in peace and dreams. This music has cast this spell on my kids for over four years now, and never fails to charm me. There is an intelligence and depth at work here which is largely absent in popular kids music. Perhaps we underestimate the little ones....

The first time I heard this cd, I didn't like it. I didn't listen to it again for about a month, and when I did listen to it I completely fell in love with it! It's soothing and relaxing, with a truly Celtic spirit. My husband and I listen to it whenever we need to unwind. A few instrumentals, but mostly songs with soft, enchanting vocals. A great addition to my collection...

I found Celtic Twilight Lullabies in my search for relaxation music. It has now become the "ritual" final CD I listen to to wind down at the end of the day. My imagination takes the most lovely journeys as I drift off. I am especially enchanted with Arcady's Lullaby. Love it all!
