The best book I've seen about Hand Made tiles ever...!!
Simply a great investigation about the history of Portland Tiles in the American Continent... Personally I think that in Mexico they should of mentioned UN RAYITO DE SOL, [...] as one of the top producers, but it's the quality of the historical reviews for every country that really counts! I enjoyed it very much, since I am a big fan of this product and produce it my self with my Spanish partners. Congratulations!

Excellent for Inspiration and General History,

The many, many color photographs in this book are so inspiring, I suspect that anyone who sees them will never be satisfied with boring floors again.
The text is in Spanish but with English translations at the end of each chapter. The information in the text is informative and well documented. obviously the authors have rounded up a lot of rather obscure facts and data. This is a book for the curious, for designers, for consumers, and for artists. It is not a 'how-to' recipe book for those who want to make cement tile themselves. It is not intended to be.

A coffee table book. Good pictures and an historical perspective but light on the technical aspects of cement tile making.
