Makcie INUS and other,
By WIlliam Harris (Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Cement of the Universe: A Study of Causation (Clarendon Library of Logic and Philosophy) (Paperback)
I will keep this fairly short, I found the book not the best read ever, but it was quite good for the subject matter it contained. I wonder still if Mackies explanation of the "INUS -condtion" adequately explains causation. mackie has written some other interesting books this one, is a usful metaphysics book for anyone interested in the subject. it will give you a good opinion. I also suggest that one who is interested familliarize themselves with Armstrong, Wittgenstein,Bambrough, and others to help give a better context for the topics disscussed in the text.
