Not that good, but some great hardcore/bar fighting feel to it. I actually wish there was less Chuck Mosely on this album...and more the other vocalist. But Chuck's latest album with VUA is really good.

this album is a little more raw than the bands follow up, but it is a solid debut with several cool tracks. chuck mosley really helps bring character to songs like chip away, reputation shot, and kcmt. check out his new album "will rap over hard rock for food" out june 2009!

Sounds more like a demo, but a bit of a surprise all the same.,

I believe this is Chuck's first album out of Faith No More. It sounds a lot like early Faith No More, but with more rap added to the mix. I am not sure who was the extra rapper on the album, but I didn't take to his voice and spoilt some of the songs like "take it easy."
It seems like this album was brought out as a joke rather or was brought out like a demo tape. Chuck may have been serious at first, but when you listen to the songs, his voice is way too inaudible. The mix is not there unfortunately -- for whatever reason -- serious or not. This would have to be one of the most underproduced albums I've ever listened to. But despite this disappointment, as a listener, I could to appreciate the many ideas Chuck wanted to express on this album and that was enough to make me feel this album was worth "5/10." Chuck was always 100% with attitude and humor and good with harmonies and lyrics which is present on this album. "Shout" is obviously about his time with Faith No More and Chuck is obviously writing this to get back at the people in Faith No More (now he gets along with most ex band members.) I have missed Chuck Mosley for years. I've always wondered where he went and what he is doing now. It's quite obvious when you listen to this CD, he was an important member of the group contributing heavy to that "Faith No More" sound. I know that Chuck Mosley doesn't have the best voice in the world, but it's fun and it's unique. He does have good tones when he wants to. The very blusey song "Reputation Shot" shows his voice does have potential. Chuck, if you are reading this, goodluck to your new group Vandals Against Illiteracy (love the humor!) and hope you can keep the group going! I hope you can bring out that album this year. ...I can't wait to get "Man With The Action Hair" in the mail soon!
