I purchased this book for a class on weather and climate. It's a pretty interesting book with a lot of great photos. The explanations are easy to understand. It is not an advanced book, so if you already know the basics of weather it probably won't be what you are looking for. The version I got is missing a chapter on climate types, so if you are getting this for a class make sure you get the right one.

I can't say that I was particularly intrigued but needed this book for a class. It served its purpose.

Being in the United States Navy and forward deployed, it was amazing how fast and what good shape I received my order. I was expecting to wait a couple of months since my address is a FPO AP (overseas) address. I received my book in plenty of time to prepare for my class that does not start for another two weeks. Thanks!
