Comment: This book is in overall good condition. There is no writing in the book at all. The binding is tight and easy to read. The corners and edges are dingerd up and worn from use. From page 472-479 the binding is starting to come apart on the bottom seam. The rest seems all good.

I am obviously not worth replying to so I am guessing they do not care what I think.

Purchased this as textbook for my son's dual-enrollment course in Psychology. It is in great condition, more like brand-new. The book was well written, easy to understand, and nicely illustrated. It arrived quickly and the entire transaction was terrific.

I got this book for my General Psychology Class. I must admit I really liked this book; it's written in a really good way and easy to understand. It's built up really nicely, and the chapters are divided into sub-chapters.

The condition it arrived in wasterrible. I rented a text book before and it was in great condition. This one is not used it is damaged. A portion of the end cover over the binder came of upon opening the package and the top of thevoerwasripped. And all the pages are bent I just hope I am not charged for a new book when this was in terrible condition. I would have sent back and requested a new one, but class was starting and I needed.

I don't normally rate college textbooks or anything on Amazon for that matter but this book is actually quite good. The authors have a great clear conversationalist style when they are talking about specific subjects and they have a great sense of humor. There isn't one chapter that I don't go through without laughing. The book also breaks the chapters down into smaller modules which are a few pages long which makes the reading a lot more digestible. It follows the SQ4R method by turning all the headings into questions which is a great way to guide you when you're taking notes on your reading.

Overall, I think this book is very well written and I like it so much that I won't be selling it back. Really easy to read and it has a ton of good information for anyone and their daily life.

I purchased this book for a psychology class I was taking since it was so much cheaper to get online, but I have to say its really interesting to read and very simple to understand. They have chapter summaries at the end of the books as well as chapter quizzes that are very useful. Glad my teacher assigned this book :)

It looked like the seller was in a rush to cram all of the books into one package. Unfortunately my Psych book got the blunt force of the time crunch and it's cover was badly bent. I hope I don't have to pay for it now when I send it back since it's only a rental. I took pictures of it as soon as I opened the package to prove that it wasn't me. The seller is also going to be receiving an email from me about this.

I mean.. it's the book I wanted which is good - but I think they should have tried a little harder in packaging these incredibly expensive textbooks.

I had just taken a psychology class last winter semester 2012; as part of my Associate Degree. I had no idea that psychology was/is so cool to know and can be used as a weapon in the right hand, (example: psychological warfare). The only reason I did not give this book 5 star, is because I cannot find away to contact the seller to ask if the book I order (New, Paperback) was supposed to come wrapped in plastic like all the other text books I have purchased in the past came. If it wasn't supposed to, them ignore the 4 stars and give it 5 out of 5 stars:)
