About the Author
Jon Shepard has a Ph.D. from Michigan State University and is the department head of the Department of Management and a professor of sociology at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, having taught there since 1989. He has received several teaching awards, including the University Great Teacher Award at the University of Kentucky, where he taught from 1968 to 1989 after receiving his Master's Degree there. In addition to introductory sociology, business ethics is another of his current teaching and research interests.

I placed my order and was never given a notice that it had shipped. Consequently, I also have not received my order and the delivery window has passed. Almost a month later, my order has yet to be processed and shipped.

This book saved me a few dollars because at the bookstore the newest edition was 80 bucks. This one cost me less than 10 including shipping and when compared in class with the 10th edition it was the same thing. This was a VERY good buy... good luck sociology is fun.
