Variation on the tale of the Wedding of Pirithous King of the Lapiths. To his wedding, Pirithous invited a horde of Centaurs, half-human, half-horses, and symbols of dark, untamed forces. The Centaurs promptly got intoxicated and kidnapped the bride, and the ensuing tragedy is one of the classics of Greek myth symbolizing the Eternal Return. This is a parallel view to a more contemporaneous setting in which the dark, untamed forces are represented by a motorcycle gang.

WARNING,
This review is from: A Centaur's Tale (Paperback)
The editorial review neglects to mention the item is very sexually explicit with graphic depictions that are very detailed. The overall story is amusing and the drawing is well done. I especially enjoyed the representation of the fates; however, if you are ordering for a library or school facility's graphic novel order you may want to make sure you are ready for the parent/ administrative complaints.
