This is the second year that I have used this pool. I bought mine last spring. The only problem that I had with it is a bird landed on it and put a few hole in it. But a vinyl patch fixed the problem. I do recommend I filter with this and chlorine tablets and floater. As it holds 900 gallons and that is a lot of water to be pouring out. But the kids love it, and it is big enough that the parents can float in it and have a good time.

This is a good size pool for my 5 and 8 year old. Just enough room for my 5 year old to do a few strokes back and forth and swim a little underwater. It's deep enough to pose a drowning hazard for toddlers, but then just don't fill it as high.
The pool lacks an inflated floor, which isn't a problem, unless you've set it up on a hard surface. It has three inflatable rings. The valves are one-way, so air does not escape when the pump nozzle is pulled out. You must provide your own pump, and I recommend an electric one. It's quick and easy to inflate. There are large plugs in each ring for quick deflation. That's really the only way to empty the pool. My yard slopes a little. Depending on where we put the pool, it might bulge more or less on one side, but the pool doesn't collapse. The octagonal shape does give the walls more strength than a round pool I've very happy with this pool. It's the biggest inflatable pool that's not the Intex variety that I could find. My kids have plenty of room, even when their friends come over. It can hold 3 to 4 kids comfortably. Of course, you can squeeze in more, and they don't mind!

Bought this pool to cool off my 3 kids (5 - 12 yrs.) in the hot summer months. It was a little deeper than the others and based on other reviews I though Intek would be a good buy. I liked the way it looked too - not another one of those blue pools. We used it once, on a patio with a blanket underneath (many of the other Intek pools have a blow up chamber in the floor - this one doesn't - it would have been nice considering the price). The kids had a great time and created a "whirl pool" by flowing around the perimeter. It is pretty deep for my youngest so I had him put on a life jacket (he is not confident in the water). After having it up for 3 days I drained it, cleaned it, deflated it (used a shop vac for in/deflation - it works great)and stored it. Took it out to use it a second time and the top ring (of 3 chambers) has a leak in it and we haven't figured out where it is yet. After about an hour it is flat....Very disappointed:( Hoping it is a fluke with this line, but you never know....seems like so much I buy anymore breaks....maybe I should have gotten one of the blue ones...

Last year we had the rectangular pool. It seemed a bit small and so we wanted to upgrade. This is larger but feels a little taller than the 25" that is listed. I haven't actually measured it. It is a little tall for the kids (ages 3, 5 and 6) to try to climb over and get into themselves.
They do love the windows though.

I purchased this exact pool for $47.00 last year. The pool has no drainage or filter so I had to dump the water and then turn it over to let it dry before folding it to store or another time. The pool blew into the fence and holes and rips are everywhere. I just threw mine away and said I would purchase another one. I came back to Amazon the the price is a whopping $166.00. I will not be getting another one. I would prefer one of the inflatable Walmart pools because they serve the same purpose for over $100 LESS. Bad choice Amazon.

Looking for a new pool, as we had this one last summer, did not hold up so well. The first one that Amazon sent had a ripped seam & the air just flew out, they replaced it quickly, but did not have much better luck with the second one. Also there is no drainage hole on the bottom of the pool, which for a pool this big is a design flaw. Plus it wreaks havoc on your grass if you keep it up more than a couple days, which we tried to do, since we did not feel good about 'dumping' that much water on a daily basis (or paying to fill it). And trying to keep the water clean w/ pool treatments really dos not work without a filter.... plus you have to be careful with the pH of the water. Finally, I was VERY suprised to see this priced at $166.00 - I bought the SAME pool last winter for about $50.00 !!!!! If you are planning on spending close to $150 on a backyard pool there are better options than this overgrown, OVERPRICED kiddie pool.

Used once, but it was quite easy to set up and gave us over double the space of the rectangle pool. We were able to fit two floaties inside, and the kids as well.

This is a great pool for those who can't get a bigger one. One caution though....make sure you put the pool on level ground. We put ours on top of some sand, which shifted, and 1 morning the pool looked like the Titanic! Easily fixed though with more sand and now we're loving it. We live in Florida, so we had a put a canopy over it so the water wasn't 90 degrees! Now it's perfect.

This is an awesome design. Great depth for the kids and relaxing adults. The only problem I have had is that the bottom ring on both pools tore in the seam and allowed the ring to fill with water. Not sure why. But make sure you have a level surface. |
