Doug Stitzel we hardly knew ye,
By Garry Owen "1st Lieutenant Garry Owen" (Maryland) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Center, Vol. 10: Value (Paperback)
I am particularly fascinated by the development of One and Two Rodeo Drive by Doug Stitzel. I knew Doug in San Francisco where he had great success as a multifamily broker working for Cushman&Wakefield in the 1970's. We played racketball together. He was highly competitive. How he went from broker to visionary retail developer of some of the highest priced real estate in the country shall remain a mystery I suppose? He claimed in an article in San Francisco Magazine to have attended UC Berkeley majoring in Sandskrit, but I knew him as a kid from New Jersey. Regardless, a bright shining light gone much too early at the age of 40.
