Tough Music Player,
This review is from: Centon Craze 4GB MP3 Player (Silver) (Electronics)
I Bought this MP3 player because of its small design, and its reasonable price. But this little MP3 is amazingly tough! I'm very clumsy, and have dropped it many times, and the last thing ( That i thought for sure would finish it ) This MP3 went through a full cycle of laundry! and works just fine! Now don't be going to test your's out, I may have just been lucky!

This is not a very user friendly player but for the price I accepted it as is. After a week of use, the battery refuses to charge. Followed the instructions to the letter to no avail. Tried everything and it still won't charge. It's worthless.

I bought 2 of these MP3 players. Result after 3 months of very moderate use:
One was only playing for 1hr before the cheap, plastic on/off switch broke and rendered the unit useless The second one only plays for 1hr and only immediately after being charged. If you wait a couple days after charging there is not even enough power to start up the unit. Save your money, don't but a Centon product.

Its "whatever",

I've had it less than a month, depends on what your using if for, I want to take it to the gym, and its annoying there, one, because of the threat of the magnetic usb flash drive cap falling off, another because of its shape, its long, if I use the clip it has on my belt, the long shape pushes down on my leg when I sit on a bench, the really really annoying thing is that when you press the button for the next song there is a few second delay until the next song starts, that may not sound bad to most of you out there, but when your at the gym, and you have certain work out songs you want to get to and there are hundreds of songs to shuffle through, its ANNOYING that it takes so long to go from track to track. Also, when you turn it off and on, it does NOT remember the last song, it starts all over again, so you have to spend all that time pushing the "next" button again, also, you have to click things twice sometimes, I think its a safety feature so in case you accidentally bump into a button it doesn't effect the player, but still annoying, if people don't the buttons to work, then just provide a hold or lock switch. It does have a voice recorder which I find cool, and the flash drive makes it convenient that you don't need a usb cable, its got an ugglier cheaper version out in stores with the buttons made of plastic now, but the one I have is the silver one in the picture on this site and it looks and feels nice. Haven't used it enough to judge battery life, all in all, if you cant afford apple or sandisk stuff, I would go with a cheaper "creative" mp3 player, if thats too much, this is a good option, it has a voice recorder, fm radio, and flash drive so they made it convenient that way, but for me, using it purely for music at the gym, its going back where it came from.
