Helpful for parents and teachers, May 11, 2000
This review is from: Central Auditory Processing Disorder: Strategies for Use With Children and Adolescents (Spiral-bound)
I am a parent of a child with CAPD. In researching information I came across many books that explain in detail why this disorder happens. As a parent, I needed information on what to do to assist my daughter. This book has practical strategies and excercises that can be used by the school or by me at home. I appreciated knowing what to do with the "wheel" without knowing how the "wheel" was invented.

This book was more for teachers and therapists. As a parent reviewing this, it had too many useless forms which I thought were unnecessary. However, it had some very helpful tips on helping children with auditory processing problems.
