Pressure regulated for efficient fuel flow in cold temperatures or at high altitude, this double-headed infra-red heater attaches to the top of a bulk propane cylinder with a P.O.L.-type connection. With both burners on, the heater can be adjusted to give off 18,000 to 20,000 BTUs. With just one heater on, the output can be adjusted to 9,000 to 14,000 BTUs. The burners' design makes them windproof. A safety shutoff valve automatically cuts off gas flow if the flame is extinguished.

Overall very happy with the product. However, upon opening the box I found that the product was damanged either in packing from manufacturer or shipping. The lines that feed the burners were kinked/bent. These are rubber supply lines so should work but could restrict gas supply. In addition, I found that both protective grates on front were so badly bent they would not attach or stay on the burners. Lastly, I found I had to straighten one of the burners on the T-Mount as it was tweaked a bit. Again Century makes great products, just wished it arrived in better condition.

Saw similar at Home Depot for more money. Put out good heat, but you still need to be close (5-6 ft) to get warm. Wish heat heads could turn or point up a little. If price drops another 20% or so I would buy another to keep both sides of the table warm. Shipping was fast. I added my own lock washers when putting top on bar to keep it from coming loose or having to tighten too much.

Took this dear hunting and it came in handy. Puts out good heat and lasts hours. We also took it sleigh riding to warm up in between trips down the hill. It's great!
