Bag Decent but Warranty is a fraud,

I purchased this bag last year. I was going to buy the UFC bags but when I talked with their sales associate on the phone she informed me that their Century Bags had a lifetime warranty. I have had some crappy bags in the past, so I asked if one of the bags busted was there extra charge in the lifetime warranty to replace them and she told me no.About a week ago two of the bags busted, the zipper busted and stuffing started coming out. I called to replace them only to find out that #1. There is now a $20 charge per bag to be replaced #2. The warranty is only a 1 year LIMITED warranty basically the exact opposite of what I was sold on. And on top of that here is what you have to go through to get a bag replaced #1. Empty all of the stuffing out of the old bags, #2. Package them and ship them back to Century at your cost. #3. Wait for Century to receive the old bags before they send out the new bags #4. Pay an extra $20 per bag #5. Become informed that the Lifetime warranty is only a one year limited warranty. After multiple complaints they, as a courtesy, waived the charged. I am sorry this is not a courtesy this is what I am entitled to based on the purchase. And now my Lifetime warranty has become a 1 year limited warranty. as for the bag itself, I like them. Our bags get daily use and are used for intended purposes. Unfortunately the zippers seem to be the weak area on most of the heavy bags and that is where they seem to break, I do however prefer the quality of century over EverLast and have not tried any of the UFC bags yet. If the warranty was in fact what they sold it as and the zipper maybe was a little sturdier I would give this bag 5 stars

Do not be fooled by the warranty,

Century offers a life time warranty but customer service reps insist that it is only a 1year. There is a disconnect between sales and customer service. Had the bags less than a year and they are busted

This is the first heavy bag that I've purchased. It is used daily by my son who is taking Karate lessons, and I use it a couple of times a week. So far it has held up well to the kicks and punches. It has one small tear that was a result of dropping the bag when we had to relocate it to a different part of the room. We wrapped some duct tape around this and things are good. (It's low on the bag in an area that is not usually struck.)
The sand inside has settled a bit making the bottom of the bag hard, and the top very soft, however the middle part seems just right so we keep that part at the proper height for our punches. Otherwise the bag has held up fine. I would buy this again.
