About the Author

P. D. BACCALARIO was born in Acqui Terme, a beautiful little town in the Piedmont region of Northern Italy. He grew up in the woods with his three dogs and his black bicycle. A great conclusion to a series I could not put down. I only have one complaint: I want more!! He could have written another four books on the Four's preparation, the new disciples, and Nibiru. They are still the best books ever though!

"What does it matter which road you follow as you seek the truth? Such a great secret is not to be reached by a single path. This is the secret of Century . . ."

It keeps me guessing and has a lot of action mystery.but it also makes into a quest that's been going on a thousand years.

I have purchased and read this entire series. Since I am in my 60's I most certainly do NOT fall into the "young adult" category. But since I like to pass my books onto my grandchildren, I often read books in this genre. The lack of graphic violence and sex make this series appropriate for kids in their early teens yet would be interesting enough for "children" of all ages.

I quite enjoyed the Century Quartet. The books are sot of in the same vein as The DaVinci Code and the story has a nice complexity that keeps the reader entertained. I do hate books that are written "down" to children -- these do not. I definitely recommend these books -- you should have as much fun reading them as your kids.

Love PD Baccalario's writing. His stories are so good. The Ulysses Moore series got me hooked. The Century Quartet didn't disapppoint. To open the cover of Dragon of Seas and be reunited with old friends as they finished their adventure was exciting. Flew through the book, finished it in 2 sittings, couldn't stop reading. Will be watching for Mr. B.'s next story.
