Die Kreuzen,

This review is from: Century Days (Audio CD)
Die Kreuzen is a little band out of Wisconsin that should have shot to the moon. Century Days proves that and more. This album is pure talent and then some. Sweet lyrics, soaring guitar, and roaring vocals. With a sound all their own, nobody comes close to matching their distinct rock and roll, alternative, punk, blues, jazz vibe.It might take a close listen to understand and a talented ear, but this album now on cd, rocks!!

After Killdozer, of course. DK's drummer played on the farewell Killdozer tour and was great (check out KD's Last Waltz).Anyways, Die Kreuzen is a band that's been completely forgotten about and that's too bad because they were great! The original LP was a gatefold sleeve so you could deseed your weeed on it. There was a sticker on the shrinkwrap that screamed "FREE POSTER INSIDE" but mine didn't come with one! If you're looking at this page on Amazon and don't know anything about these guys, pick this up. Their sound is kinda similar to Laughing Hyenas, maybe a little less dark. Just get it, OK. They're thanked on a COC record as Die Cruisin'! Check out Mighty High...In Drug City. |
