This review is from: Century 21 Guide to Inspecting Your Home (Paperback)
I got this some years back, hoping I could inspect a house I was buying and save the $250-350 of a pro. This book won't let you do it. It gives some information on housing construction and things to look for but beyond the fact that the book is now getting fairly old, it's just not going to bring an amateur up to the level they need to competently inspect a home. And it lacks the details to educate a professional further anyway. I don't really see the point to the book to be honest.
