I've been using these gloves for 3 years now and I had to buy a new pair as they were starting to be ripped off between the fingers.
What I like: easy to set good wrist support good grip with the middle bar What I don't like: using wraps can be difficult if you don't take a size above and I recommend wraps otherwise the leather will burn your skin. For the price and the time that I've used them (2-3 times a week on heavy bags), they performed very well.

Great Pair of Gloves, Better Than Most of the Other MMA Gloves On the Market,

A few months ago I started looking around for a good pair of mma gloves to use while working the heavybag and focus mitts and I tried out several different brands before choosing the Century gloves.I found them to be a lot more comfortable to wear and although some of the other gloves had more padding on the knuckles, they felt to bulky and cumbersome to me. As soon as I put these gloves on I knew that I had found the right gloves for me. I was even more convinced the first time that I used them on my muay thai bag. The provided great protection as well as a bit more wrist support, even though I always wrap my hands with handwraps prior to hitting the bag. If there is any downside to these gloves, I haven't found it yet. They have been very durable so far and I haven't seen any signs of wear on them as of yet, and I have been using them 3 times per week for ten 3 minute rounds per punching workout. The one thing that I would like to see, is an X-large or even XX-large pair of gloves that would more easily accommodate a larger hand and handwraps. Other than that small criticism, I would highly recommend these gloves over some of the more expensive "brand name" mma gloves on the market. Good glove, though light on padding..,

Overall, these gloves are good for light training, but after having used them for a while, I think I'm going to have to get some that have more robust padding in the knuckle area. The fit is very good, though as another reviewer notes, they are snug with hand wraps (which I like). The leather is a nice alternative to the vinyl and neoprene common in many bag gloves because it allows your hand to breathe. My only issue is that the padding over the knuckles is thin (1/4 inch foam), and now that it has been beaten down a little, I find I have some soreness even with hand wraps.

I take a Ringside Boxing class at my gym and everyone bought these gloves and really likes them. I ordered them from online because it was the only place I could find a size small. I am very happy with them. They offer excellent wrist support and protection for your fingers. I really like the bar in the palm to help you grip when making a fist. They do tend to leave your hands a little black after sweating in them, but it washes right off. The only thing bad I have to say is that after only a couple of times of using them, the threading started to come apart at the pinky finger. It can be sewed up, but you shouldn't have to do that so soon after the purchase. No one else in my class seems to have had this problem. I still gave them 4 stars, because I have a hunch that the threading isn't a common problem and I love them otherwise.

Wrist wraps are a plus and the gloves are of a high quality leather. The inserted bar aids the hand in keeping a solid, tight fist.
Good product, no surprises.

Best Fighting Gloves to buy!,

At first when I started I had no gloves....:( yeah that sucked... my knuckles all tore up= not good. Had another pair of gloves that I decided to cheep out on thinking "Why should I pay for better gloves? These other ones will due..." Until those cheeper ones wore out and ripped and eventually fell apart. Then I said let's spend a little extra and get the good gloves. So I did, WOW what a difference! The wrist strap is great! for support around the wrist. Form bar in middle is use full when attacking bags/moving targets giving you something to hold on too.(sorta) better fist formation. Easy to take on and off and yes my knuckles weren't destroyed anymore! YES!
Do yourself a favor and spend the extra buck to not hurt yourself and protect yourself. I'd say worth the buy. Enjoy ;)

Great Gloves. I ordered the Small and they fit perfectly. Hard to find a glove small enough for a 5'2" girl. They seem to be holding up well, I use them about 3 times a week and so far, so good!

I bought a new pair to replace gloves of the same type I have use for years (they were stolen). While I loved the old ones, Century seems to have changed the lining to a rougher material almost like canvas. Now I have no skin on my knuckles. I know I could use hand wraps but the point of bag gloves is so I don't have to use wraps.
Overall construction is still very good but beware the bloody knuckles.

Bit of a pain to get on the first time, pretty snug, but feel great when they're on and feel great when hitting the bag. Not so padded that there's no feel to punching, but not so thin that your knuckles get ripped up. There are no seams internally that get uncomfortable, and the bar across the palm gives you a nice, solid fist.
