Being from this area myself, I was very interested in the photographs that were presented in this work. As I live almost 2,000 miles away from the area now, this book helped to alleviate some of my homesickness.The photos show special moments in Champaign-Urbana's history (presidents' visits and the like) as well as shots of Chanute AFB and Danville, among others. |
