Tapered Hardwood Bo Staff

This staff was well worth the money. I have used other staffs, like white wax wood, but this bo staff, made of white oak, is much sturdier. A word of warning though, hardwood staffs are not designed to be hit against completley solid objects like paved sidewalks and driveways. Overall, this staff is very sturdy, is the right length, and I would recomend anybody who's looking for a more serious bo staff buy this one.

All jokes aside, this bo seems to be pretty decent for the price. It came either slightly warped, or one side is tapered slightly different than the other, but that is not that big of a deal for a starter bo. There also seemed to be one dentish kind-of thing and a couple of scratches on the finish, but neither have caused any problems as it will likely be getting alot more of those from use.

From what I have read, it is one of the heavier types of bos (it is my first, so I cannot confirm this). It is also made of white oak according to amazon after I had bought it (which it oddly, did not state beforehand). It has withstood several collisions with a metal bed, one collision with a light bulb, one bump against the wall, and a couple taps against the ground.
