17th Century Triple Barrel Flintlock Pistol - Metal Replica Gun with Faux Ivory Grips and Rotating Barrel

This is a truly authentic Italian style revolver creatively done. The flintlock is tight and snaps down nicely when pulling the trigger. I have not found a way to rotate the triple barrels as per the description and no instruction came with it. Perhaps some locking mechanism is hidden somewhere. Not too concerned with the rotation of the barrels since this piece will only hang on the wall with the rest of my collection. I had a good experience with Grendel's Cave and their shipping was a fair price.

This is a beautiful piece and I am glad I purchased it. The weight makes it feel more real and the functioning hardware works well. The details and surface patina match well and age the gun well visually. Easy to disassemble if necessary, though it takes some finesse to put the spring back in place.

Note: The barrel does rotate but the rotation is NOT linked to the trigger. The barrel and trigger move independently of one another. The ad description does not lie, the barrel does rotate, just not in the way I assumed it would.

This piece is perfectly weighted and the attention to detail was spot on for a replica. I personally prefer replicas to the original. If you want it more as a discussion piece and decoration and less as a prestige piece then this is the piece for you. Not to mention the replicas are a lot cheaper and usually easier to find (and in better condition usually).
