THIS IS AN EXCELLENT DOCUMENTARY PERTAINING TO WOMEN AND DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF THEIR LIVES. THE SERIES SKILLFULLY TELLS THE TALE OF A FICTIONAL FAMILY INTERWOVEN WITH HISTORICAL TRUE FACTS TOLD ABOUT ISSUES THAT ARE CENTRAL TO THE WOMEN'S CORE OF LIVING IN OUR SOCIETY. SEVERAL SIGNIFICANT WOMEN ARE PROFILED WITH THEIR CAUSES AND THE SERIES TELL THEIR STORIES WITH COMPASSION. THE ONLY FAULT WITH THESE SERIES IS THAT THEY ARE AMERICAN-BASED AND I BELIEVE THE SERIES SHOULD HAVE INCORPORATED IMPORTANT WOMEN FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD WHO EACH IN THEIR OWN WAY CONTRIBUTED TO THE BETTERMENT OF LIVING FOR ALL WOMEN EVERYWHERE. WOMEN WHO MAKE APPEARANCES IN THESE SERIES ARE: TALIA SHIRE, OLYMPIA DUKAKIS, JASMINE GUY, ETC. AND THE SERIES ARE NARRATED BY JANE FONDA. I URGE ALL WOMEN EVERYWHERE, REGARDLESS OF CREED, NATIONALITY, RACE AND RELIGION, TO WATCH THESE EXTRAORDINARY SERIES ENTITLED A CENTURY OF WOMEN.

This is an amazing video and should be shown to any class learning about reproduction, and or womens rights. It is an essential part of American history.

This video series is fun, interesting, and has inforation I haven't seen anywhere else. It's amazing that girls graduate High School learning about discrimination based upon race, religion, and sexual orientation...yet we're taught so little about women history. Maybe that's because sexual discrimination is a big part of women's history, and schools aren't prepared to acknowledge that. This video collection is a must. Also has rewatchability.

This set is a must see for all women! It shows the amazing women of "herstory" and documents women's struggles for equality and rights.
