I had originally planned on reading the Core Curriculum text, but then realized that wasn't going to happen. Instead, I just did the review questions in this book. It is divided by topic and gives rationales for all the answers in the book. I went through the book once and passed my NICU RNC exam on my first try.

Up to date, with rationales, for the reason one answer is correct or not correct. Very organized.

This book was a great help to pass the CCRN, it gives questions and rationals in all sections of the test. It is also good if you just want to brush up on neonatal nursing knowledge. A great accompany to this book is the Core Curriculum for Neonatal Nursing, these two books together have everything you need to know to pass the CCRN and increase your knowledge in neonatal nursing.

This book provides questions and answers that are specific to the NICU certification review test. I took the course and felt the book was better at preparing me for the test questions.

Along with Core Curriculum for Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (Core Curriculum for Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (AWHONN)) the "Certification and Core Review for Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing" is the GOLD STANDARD for use while studying for either RNC or CCRN. After completely reviewing the Core Curriculum over a series of weeks, then reviewing the "Certification and Core Review for Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing", our group took the review course offered by the author, Terese Verklan, PhD. We spent time as a group the night before the exam throwing out questions from the Review book. It was very helpful to hear little tidbits of knowledge from my colleagues. I was then able to pass BOTH the RNC and CCRN exams for neonatal intensive care nursing on my first try. I had purchased other neonatal review titles, but the "Certification and Core Review for Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing" was the most complete and helpful. Well worth your money!!

I am pleased with the book, however, it seemed to take forever to receive it. I would purchase it again, but plan on slow delivery.

I have been a NICU nurse for 10 years. I find this book to be up to date, accurate and very thorough. It is a great reference book for anyone who works in neonatal medicine.

This is the best study book ever! I haven't taken the test yet but all of my coworkers that have used this book as their study guide and passed! I expect to do the same when I'm finished with the book.

This was the main tool I used to study for my RNC-NIC and I passed the first time. There are a few mistakes in the book, however, so be on alert!

This book is amazing,with work and family life, I would not be able to read the whole core curriculum book. This book simplifies preparing for the exam. I love the rational with the answers.
