About the Author
Ted Chandler, professor of engineering, is a full-time CIS instructor at the Cisco Systems Networking Academy at Cuyamaca College near San Diego, California. In addition to teaching the CCNA program in the Academy, he teaches courses in A+ certification, Network+ certification, and structured network cabling. Ted has many years of engineering, management, and teaching experience in both the computer industry and education field. His certifications include A+ Certified Technician and Network+, and he is a registered professional engineer in the state of California.

This book helped my pass the A+ with a 93,

The only reason for the 4 star rating on this book is that it did contain some errors, otherwise it's an excellent book! I have a table full of A+ books/tapes/CD's, some good and some a waste of my money. The two prep test books were the last I added, but I really feel gave me the most bang-for-the buck. The CD included is great! Know the stuff in the book and you will do just fine on the test. If they cover something in this book you feel nervous about, take their recommended study actions.

This book is the best A+ book ever written. It kept my attention and it tells me what I need to know for the test. I passed the test with 90%, this book helps me learn a lot. It has a few minor mistakes, but overall, I learned from this book. This book is the best ever, I highly recommend this book!!! Thank you Ted Chandler, you're my computer hero!

Book was ok...BUT.......,

The book was ok and without a lot of errors, BUT the CD-Rom accompanying the book wouldn't work with my Windows 95. I checked with a friend who also bought the book and he had the same proplem, but said it worked in another computer with Windows 98. I was very dissapointed at not being able to use the CD-ROM and ended up having to purchase test questions from another source. Not happy! Buyer BEWARE!
