This is a standard USB cable with a Type A plug on one end (for plugging into your computer or power pack) and Micro-B plug on the other end. Micro-B is a non-proprietary connector that is very small. As more phone manufacturers start using the Micro-B connector, you can start acquiring these cables knowing that it will be put to good use with your next phone and the one after that. I keep one in my office, one at home, and one in my briefcase. That way I can give my phone a complete charge when it runs low, thereby maximizing the life of the charge as well as the life of the battery itself. I typically plug this phone into a computer that's going to be running anyway, which saves a bit of energy compared with plugging it into a powerpack and then into the wall.

I can confirm that, as expected, this cable works perfectly with my phone which is an LG enV3. (For other enV3 users, note that the manual says you have to install the driver on your computer in order to get the phone to charge via USB port--why they did it that way I don't know but it applies whether you use this USB cable or the one that comes with the phone. And it's true--I tried it without the driver and I got nowhere.) So why spend $30 on the official cable-and-power-pack combo when you can get this for about 80% less? You'll have more than enough money left over to buy an extra power pack if you don't plan to plug your phone into a computer to charge it.

This 3ft. USB 2.0 to Micro B cable was inexpensive, shipped quckly, but was non functional when I received it. It appears the plastic insulation material in the 2.0 end was mal-formed. I sent an email to the supplier (United Integral) and they promptly sent me a no-charge replacement which works fine. I'm disappointed the first cable was bad but they handled it well and quickly.

I ordered three of these cable for use with my Motorola Droid and my fiancee's Palm Pre. So far they all work fine with the computers we've plugged them in to, as well as the charger blocks that came with the Droid and the Pre. Nothing fancy, they just work.

I bought this particular cord to use as a cell phone charger at work. Three feet is the perfect size to plug in to my laptop and not have excess cord everywhere. The ends are well made and durable. The cord itself is thick and well made. After I got mine 3 of my coworkers ordered one also.

Works like a charm, transferring music, using my phone as a hotspot. Good times

I ordered two of these for my HTC Incredible. Both have the exact same problem. The micro USB end does not fit snuggly enough into the device to keep a consistent connection. You can watch the indicator go on, off, on, off, on, off every .5 sec. I have my original micro USB and have used a coworkers and both still work fine so it is not the device, but the cords that are defective.

So, literally, a useless product.

I ordered three of these cables. They charge the phone so slowly as to be useless. I can leave a phone plugged into one of these cables and the battery has barely charged at all after a few hours. I highly discourage you from ordering these! I may have gotten a bad set of cables, but it's not worth the time to return them.

This cable works great and I love the price. I use it to charge or to connect my HTC EVO to my laptop.

I ordered a couple of these cords to have as spares for my computer & car chargers for my cell phone. Both of them fell apart within 6 months.
