5.0 out of 5 stars Good test prep and reference book, April 22, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Certified Lotus Professional: Application Development Study Guide (Hardcover)
I was looking forward to this book after taking a hands on class from the author. It has definitely lived up to my expectations. Each of the chapters explains a concept and then follows it up with detailed questions and explanations. The nuances in Notes can sometimes be a challenge, and this book covers not only the details I ran across on the exams but also things not tested in the Lotus exam that I need to build my applications. Two thumbs up for clear, concise, and valuable information.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent prep and Notes source!, May 22, 2001

This is the absolute best R5 book available by far. The flow is outstanding with excellent examples. The review questions and assessment tests are well written and very useful. Anyone preparing for the CLP exam or who just wants to know all the details of R5 should have this book. It should be on every Notes developers bookshelf.

2.0 out of 5 stars Okay to use a study guide, but it has errors, November 19, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Certified Lotus Professional: Application Development Study Guide (Hardcover)
Good info in this book, but there are number of incorrect answers to sample questions. The answers in the book vs. the CD weren't always consistent which could get you into trouble when taking the exam. Libby Schwarz and Ben Malekzadeh's "All In One Lotus Notes & Domino Exame Guide" is much better.
