Kona Coffee for pod machines!,
By
This review is from: Dark Roast, Certified 100% Organic Coffee Pods, 36 Pods, From Aloha Island Coffee (Misc.)
When I first drank a cup of coffee from a pod machine, I asked if there were other types of coffee available in this form. Nope, just the arabica--which was certainly all right with me. I hoped there would be more choices offered, however.
I searched on Amazon and discovered that one can obtain Kona coffee in "pod" form. What a delight, and I quickly ordered a sampler box. Unbelievably good! There's a reason for this, since the beans are grown on a coffee estate located on the Big Island and the unmistakable taste of "Kona coffee" is in every cup. It's expensive, but the coffee is excellent, service is swift, and there's nothing like the first sip of coffee from the Big Island to bring a smile to your face!

Would you pay $1 for a cup of the best coffee there is? That's what you're getting with this 32-pack of Kona. I have purchased about five of these over the past few months.
With a Senseo pod machine, only one Kona pod is required to make a double cup, which brews a nice big abbey mug of joe. Make sure you use the single pod holder; don't use the double pod holder or it will not brew properly or taste right. If this is your first Kona, take in the aroma, sit back, and enjoy what very well may be the finest coffee ever grown. |
