Another strong OCP exam guide from Oracle Press
Last year I used Oracle Press's OCP Developer exam guide to prepare for, and pass, the Developer/2000 exams. The book worked great. Now I need to apply my Forms knowledge to creating custom Financials screens, so I bought this book. Its excellent. Exam retires in June 2001
The exam this book relates to retires in about 2 weeks from now and Oracle Corporation has not given an indication of what will succeed this exam. How relevant is the book if I can't use it for the specified exams?

Last year I used Oracle Press's OCP Developer exam guide to prepare for, and pass, the Developer/2000 exams. The book worked great. This book's coverage of Financials installation and customization is phenomenal. The OCP exams on this subject are demanding, and this book has what it takes to get you ready. Impressive work.

This book covers every point in the OCP exams for Financials consultants. Lots of hands-on exercises, and lots of wise perspective from someone who obviously has done a lot of installations. Considering what the book contains, it's price is really low.

Though the Financials OCP exam is being retired, the Financials package itself remains unchanged. This book is still the best introduction to how to use Oracle Financials.

It's amazing how much ground this book covers. I studied for the first exam without this book - because it wasn't out yet - and didn't pass. Now that I've started reading this, I know why. It covers every imaginable detail, and has a lot of exercises to practice with. I have no doubt now that I will nail that exam this time.

Every single topic in the OCP exams is covered in this thorough book. The writing can be a little dry at times, but if you're looking for information instead of entertainment, this book can't be beat.

Maybe it's just me, but the other books on Oracle Financials just didn't make explain things in a way I really understood. This one did! I've rocked through two of the exams already, with near-perfect scores - way above what was needed to pass. Well done, Oracle Press!

This is the most thorough book on Financials I've seen. A must-have, whether you're going for the OCP certification or not.

This book really helps clarify how Financials works. I didn't realize how much I didn't know...and now I DO know those things. I'm on track for a promotion, because now I know more about Financials than anyone else in my department. This is the best investment I've made in a LONG time.Oh, and I passed both of the exams I've taken so far. |
