I found this review to be an exceptional companion review to the Kettering seminars. It is a comprehensive and thorough review. The authors have done a great job of organizing and teaching the material in a very understandable way. It is specifically targeted toward the areas that the CRT exam stresses. The information is reliable and has reinforced and expanded upon everything I have learned from other sources. I purchased this review when I saw that the author was the main author of Egan's text in the 1990s--and it has surpassed my expectations. The practice tests on the CD are also very helpful as they give an explanation as to which answer is the best of the given choices. I highly recommend this review.

Excellent advise in the first two chapters. The remaining chapters really test your knowledge and your mastery of each section of the CRT exam. The book focuses your attention on applying your knowledge to a particular scenario and not just on memorization. I found this Review book extremely helpful.

I used this text to help me study for my CRT exam and found it extremely helpful! The whole second chapter outlines test taking tips and what to do and not to do to prepare for your exam. All of the tips provided made perfect sense and were easily applied during the actual exam. The individual chapters break down every part of the exam matrix and help you to focus on points where you need work by providing a pre-test, reading material on subjects that are stressed on the exam (without being confusing or giving you a crazy amount of information), and then a post-test on the CD provided with the book.
As I said before, this book was excellent. It was a great investment and I don't regret buying it. I did very well on my exam and I would recommend this book to anyone looking for suggestion on an easy to follow book that gives you the information you need to focus on for the CRT exam.

I had purchased this book to accompany my Kettering review books and I found it to be extremely helpful. This book thoroughly explains all aspects in respiratory care without unnecessary verbiage. I was able to gain full understanding of respiratory care not just memorizing as with my Kettering books. The accompanying cd had an excellent test bank with thorough explanations of the questions so I was able to learn in different ways. I passed my crt and rrt first time with the help of this book. must buy. if you want to pass your rrt you need to gt this book. the info is straight to the point and the questions are good for quizing youself before taking a test.

This book I purchased through Amazon was brand new as it stated, I was just charged the amount it stated, and I received my book sooner than I expected. I really recommend Amazon.com!!!!
