Very Helpful but here's a comparison,

This review is from: Cervical Posture Pump Spine Trainer (Misc.)
From my wife Sarah: I'm reviewing three devices including the Posture Pump, all of which I have. I was looking into going for traction for neck pain and slipped discs in my neck. A recent MRI showed 5 discs out in my neck, with two touching the spinal cord. I found a chiropracter offering the newer traction type table who told me I'd need to come 4 times a week for a while. He showed me the traction machine. In the course of doing some web research I found the Comfortrac unit NEW Model ComforTrac Home Cervical Traction Device. It pretty much looked just like what the chiropracter had, it appeared to do the same thing, and my osteopath approved it for my condition, so I bought it.I found that it really provided me with some relief, however with my condition this was always temporary. Depending on my condition there are times it didn't work at all, but this machine gave me more relief than anything else I had tried except for chiro or osteo adjustments. I could feel it stretching the muscles, and I even would get some cracking in my neck, followed by some relief. I would definitely recommend this unit. I also own the Posture Pump-Cervical Traction Device. This gives you traction in a different way - by creating a curve in your neck to open up the disks. If I had to choose between the two machines, I'd pick the Comfortrac device because it really seemed to have more impact. The lengthening strectch gave me more relief than the arching stretch. However I felt for me that they worked even better together since each does something different for me. I would start out on the Comfortrac and then spend some time on the Posture pump. Using both of these worked better than using either one by itself. I am dealing with TMJ, and both of these devices work fine without irritating my jaw. They can be used in a modified way to avoid placing pressure on the jaw. Both are very easy to use. I also own the REAL-EaSE Neck Support unit, which does virtually nothing for me. After struggling with severe neck pain, headaches and TMJ for decades, I recently heard about a technique called Atlas Orthogonal practiced by only about 250 doctors in the country. A friend of mine got completely pain free after 28 years of severe pain from an accident. I found someone in my area who practices Advanced Atlas Orthogonal, and had it done. It has provided me with more relief than anything I've tried in over 25 years, including many chiropracters, osteopathic adjustments, accupuncture, cranial sacral therapy, physical therapy and the list goes on. It stopped the headaches as long as my neck is in place - I need the atlas periodically adjusted again and still have other spine and neck issues. However it reduced the pain throughout my neck, jaw and body SUBSTANTIALLY. I STRONGLY suggest anyone with neck or jaw pain look into this. It's a blooming miracle.

Spine Trainer,

From the first time I used this, as my chiropractor's office, my neck has felt better than ever. I've had chronic neck problems for more than 30 years, and this is the first thing that has made a lasting and significant difference. I notice more blood flow to my head, and I feel clearer the whole day through. I sit, stand and walk more comfortably. I feel taller. My neck is improving noticably day by day.

I have the 4100 (combo neck and lower spine),

I started using this because I had tingling in my fingers from sleeping in odd positions on the couch and knew I was pinching something. The instructions for using for the 4100 are kinda counter-intuitive and at first I did it my way. WRONG. When I followed the inventor's instructions, I got the best results. (With the 4100, you start with the lower spine first, and work that area before you go to the neck.)This is the number one way for someone who sits at a computer all day to take a break. and you will REALLY feel it. It makes you feel invigorated. Physically and mentally. Google for the manufacturer site and watch the video. The last thing I want to be is one of those little old people with no spinal curvature when I hit 80. This is the machine to get. Pricey? Yeah, but so is your back. And this machine has spinal safety beat.

Extremely uncomfortable device due to poor design.,
This review is from: Cervical Posture Pump Spine Trainer (Misc.)
I was very hopeful this device would help me, but it's just too uncomfortable for me to continue use. I don't really know if it would end up helping eventually. The problem is the height of the pump. Even at it's deflated level it is way too high. The device tells you to inflate it, but not to the point of pain, but even when it's deflated it is so high that it causes me pain. The pump needs to be low enough that it's not really noticeable until you pump it up, and then you can pump it up to a level that works, but isn't painful.

Amazing Product,
This review is from: Cervical Posture Pump Spine Trainer (Misc.)
I've had chronic neck pain for over 4 years and I'm only 23 years old. I got massages and it never helped for very long, and I started seeing a chiropractor (adjustments also did not help). My X-rays showed my neck curve to be a straight line rather than a curve. Finally my chiropractor showed me the Posture Pump and I bought it on a whim. When I got it home, I thought, "What in the world did I buy?!" but I decided to try it anyway. WOW. It essentially cured my neck pain after a few weeks of use. I no longer get adjustments and only get a massage every month or so to stay loose. If you have the problem I had (a straightened neck curve), you need to at least try it. It could be the cure you've been waiting for. It is expensive but it pays for itself quickly, and being pain-free after years of agony is priceless.

I have suffered from neck pain; upper back/shoulder pain and stiffness for over 25 years since a whiplash injury. My cervical spine has also lost the natural curve and has been starting to curve the other way. This has led to almost incapacitating headaches. My chiropractor introduced me to this product and for the first time in years I am going for hours without a headache. This product has truly been amazing for me!

Manufacturer refused to honor warranty,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I called the manufacturer's warranty number number contained in the warranty information packed with the product. In my opinion, the product I received has a defect in manufacturing. The strap is sewn with sharp edges that hurt the forehead when used. As I purchased the same model some years ago, and it did not have this problem, I believe this is a defect. The respondent said they do not warranty any products sold by Amazon, Ebay or other such sellers, so they could not help me. I was shocked, as I have never heard of such a policy and the product was purchased new and fulfilled by Amazon. It's a shame, because otherwise I would love this product, but pain and red marks in my forehead were not part of the results I was seeking. Just a warning to anyone considering purchasing anything manufactured by Posture Pro. I would advise calling 1-800-neckpro to ask if your purchase will be warrantied and tell them where you plan to purchase. The fact that the package contained the full warranty description, stating that the product was covered, was of no consequence to the manufacturer. Buyer beware!
