Good price for a great speaker. If you are looking for old school boom-boom, hard to beat a 15" woofer.
Driving with an old adcom power amp, 200 watts/ch - sounds great. Crisp clean bass, good midrange and highs. Surprised how good they sounds at either end: being driven hard or just listening to low level classical music. Not sure how they'd do with a low power amp - might need the umph to make them go - but again they do sound great at low levels. PROS - good value - great sound CONS (potentially) - large/heavy (goes with the 15" woofer) - industrial look, not for the family room |
