Perfect for environments in which space is at a premium, the CLSC-6 two-way bookshelf speaker is designed to overwhelm your senses, not your decor. The speaker's elegant black ash finish is distinctive and complementary, and looks great amidst both modern and traditional furnishings. More importantly, the speaker's single 6.5-inch midrange and 1-inch soft dome tweeter combine to produce a seamless 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response. The results are remarkably gratifying whether the listener is building a stereo system with a second CLSC-6 speaker or a home theater system with a full lineup of tonally matched Cerwin-Vega Classic series speakers.

CLSC-6 construction details include a custom-designed cast-aluminum frame and fiber-impregnated cellulose cone for the midrange, which gives vocals and other midrange frequencies warmth and clarity. The computer-optimized tweeter waveguide, meanwhile, is highly sensitive and dynamic while creating extremely low distortion. The geometry of the waveguide also results in near-perfect integration of the midrange and high frequencies, so listeners won't have to endure frequency "gaps" when listening to soaring movies or music.

Compatible with amps that produce up to 125 watts per channel, the CLSC-6 works as either a front or rear surround speaker. It's also magnetically shielded against video interference, so you can locate it near the TV without distorting the video image. And at a mere 8 by 15.4 by 10.45 inches (W x H x D), it fits conveniently on nearly any bookshelf or desk, so you don't need to clear an entire wall to enjoy rich home theater sound.

As with all Classic speakers, the CLSC-6 is backed by a five-year warranty on parts and labor.

I have been a Cerwin Vega speaker fan since 1988.
I even used to sell speakers, Bose, Infinity, Sony, JBL, Yamaha and many more.

In my opinion Cerwin Vega makes one of the best sounding speakers. It is only a Bonus and plus that those same great,awesome sounding and looking speakers also cost less then many other brands. It is a double no triple win.

Cerwin Vega blows away and out performs all other companies. I would pay more for a Cerwin Vega then I would for the others, its an added bonus that they are cost less then most.

You Get Great Sound + Great Looks + Low Cost = Cerwin Vega speaker

This CLSC-6 is one of those great speakers. It is better when used as a rear or surround speaker. If you want front speakers you should get the Cerwin Vega CLSC-10, CLSC-12 or the CLSC-15.

This is a good speaker, especially for the price. It is a bit larger, than the other speakers in it's category.
