As with all Classic series speakers, the Cerwin-Vega CLSC-6C two-way center channel speaker is designed to overwhelm your senses, not your decor. The speaker's elegant black ash finish is distinctive and complementary, and looks great amidst both modern and traditional furnishings. More importantly, the speaker's dual 6.5-inch woofers and 1-inch soft dome tweeter combine to produce a seamless 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response. The results are remarkably gratifying whether the listener is enjoying the latest multichannel audio formats or playing a movie's dialogue--the traditional domain of a center speaker in a home theater system.

CLSC-6C construction details include custom-designed cast-aluminum frames and fiber-impregnated cellulose cones for the woofers, which give vocals and other midrange frequencies warmth and clarity. The computer-optimized tweeter waveguide, meanwhile, is highly sensitive and dynamic while creating extremely low distortion. The geometry of the waveguide also results in near-perfect integration of the midrange and high frequencies, so listeners won't have to endure frequency "gaps" when listening to soaring movies or music.

Compatible with amps that produce up to 125 watts per channel, the CLSC-6C can be used as a center channel speaker for any system, but works particularly well when teamed with other Cerwin-Vega Classic series speakers, which are tonally matched for the best possible audio integration. In addition, the speaker is magnetically shielded against video interference, so you can locate it near the TV without distorting the video image. And at 22.7 by 8 by 9.5 inches (W x H x D), it fits conveniently on most entertainment centers either above or below the video monitor.
