As long-time friend of Cesar Chavez, I like it.,

This review is from: Cesar Chavez: A Photoillustrated Biography (Read and Discover Photo-Illustrated Biographies) (Library Binding)
This book captures the man's 66 years clearly, with a variety of moods captured in the photos. Vocabulary level seems a little big for youngest readers, but generally words like "strike" and "boycott" are nicely defined. Adults will enjoy Susan Ferriss' FIGHT IN THE FIELDS which shows Cesar and the entire farm worker organizing movement quite readably. I'd like to communicate with Lucile Davis if someone hooks us up.
