I purchased this tray for use in a film class I took, and I didn't think about how big it would actually be- I needed an 8x10 tray. However, the size of this tray actually worked out much better for me in the long run, as it provides a great deal more space in which to sort through prints and wash them. The plastic is a good, sturdy quality material, and the surface is smooth but textured. It's a perfect size even for working with 8x10 prints as the largest, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this tray to anyone who needs one.
