The Cessna 182 Large 1/5 Scale is our largest electric ready to fly RC plane ever released to date. Wingspan is a whopping 59 inches ! Powered by a huge 950 kv brushless motor and scale tri-bladed propeller for maximum thrust in all maneuvers. Features a servo controlled and streer-able nose wheel for precise ground control for easy take off and landings. Comes standard with a massive 2200 mah 14.8 volt 4 cell Li-poly battery with an A/C peak detection wall charger. Will run a about 14-16 minutes on a single charge. The Cessna 182 is controlled with a fully proportional F.M. Radio system with a 2500 foot operating flight range. Designed with several accurate scale details from the clear front, side and rear windows , as well as scale wing struts, perfectly shaped tail surfaces and realistic wing and fuselage curves! The larger 1/5 scale size contributes to making it easier to see in the air as well as being able to handle a higher than typical wind load. The main wing attaches with just four hex bolt screws for easy transport and storage. The main wing comes with pre cut-out servo openings for optional flap systems if desired. I HAD ORDERED THE DELUXE VERSION OF THIS PLANE IN MARCH 2010 DIRECTLY FROM PARKFLYERS. THEY SHIPPED IT PROMPTLY AND ARRIVED AT MY HOME SHORTLY AFTER. THE PLANE WAS NOT TO HARD TO ASSEMBLE OR GET ADJUSTED. CHARGED UP THE BATTERIES OVERNIGHT AND TOOK IT UP THE NEXT AFTERNOON. THE FIRST FLIGHT LASTED LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES BEFORE THE BATTERY DIED. THEY SAY THE BATTERY SHOULD GIVE YOU A 15-16 MINUTE FLIGHT. WHEN I LOOKED OVER THE PLANE I FOUND THAT THREE OF FOUR MOUNTING SCREWS FOR THE OUTRUNNER MOTOR WERE GONE AND THE REMAINING SCREW WAS ONLY HOLDING ON BY A FEW THREADS. FOUND REPLACEMENT SCREWS AND REMOUNTED THE MOTOR. THE NEXT TIME I TRIED TO FLY THE PLANE THE MOTOR WOULD NOT START UP AT ALL. I AM THINKING THE E.S.C. FAILED. I TRIED EMAILING AND CALLING PARKFLYERS NUMEROUS TIMES FOR OVER A WEEK AND NEVER RECEIVED ANY REPLIES OR CALL BACKS. SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY BECAUSE YOU CAN NOT GET AHOLD OF ANYBODY THERE TO HELP YOU. SO NOW I HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY ON THIS PLANE JUST SO I CAN HAVE MORE THAN ONE FIVE MINUTE FLIGHT. I WOULD RECOMMEND STAYING AS FAR AWAY FROM PARKFLYERS AS YOU CAN.
