When we decide to try something new, don't we often judge products base on what they advertise, or how flashy the packaging look? I'm 25 and I have adult acne. Before I went to the dermatologist, I used to buy cleanser, lotion and others that promised amazing results, i.e. Proactiv, AcneFree, Biotherm, MyChelle, African black soap, unrefined shea butter...Of course nothing worked.

Aside from the cream the doctor prescribed, I was given a set of samples of Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and Cetaphil Daily Advance Lotion. The cleanser is NOT soapy, no bubbles but makes my face squeaky clean; the lotion is amazingly moisturizing. For less than $10, this 8oz tube works better than the flashy and fragrant moisturizers that cost a lot more. I hate the fact that it took me this long to see a doctor. The money I spent on useless products could have been used to pay for the doctor's visit and 10-year supply of Cetaphil cleanser and lotion.

Also, I'm cursed with sensitive skin. The fragrance free is a BIG plus. Smelling good isn't gonna make my face look better.
P.S. the nurse recommended to apply lotion on DAMP skin.

A word of advise, if you have adult acne, don't get hooked on reading reviews that promise unrealistic results (that's what I did). Your dermatologist has the answer!

Cetaphil daily advance ultra hydrating lotion work well for dry skin. I use it for my dry skin after showering or washing my hands. Does not irritate, burn, or feel greasy. Keeps my hands from drying out too much. Contains macadamia nut oil and shea butter. I used Neutrogena hand cream for a long time and switched upon recommendation from my dermatologist. The two pack is a good deal since the local stores don't always carry this.

I've tried so many face lotions out there, from Philosophy to Korres. All I can say about this is WOW. It really does what it says, and it contains some amazing good for your skin ingredients that you'd expect to cost big money. My skin feels so good after using this, it's never looked better, and it's helped with my acne. Absolute must have

This product was just what the doctor ordered. It helps my dry skin withou being greasy. Once applied, it is absorbed quickly. Clothes can be put on withou fear of staining them or having that icky feeling that other dry skin products cause.

This is a great and excelent moisturizing lotion. I have tried others, like Lubriderm, Eucerin, Bepanthene, Keri, etc, and this by far the best ! The presentaion is great too, which is a tube style, that means you do not need to clean the your hands first, since you are not touching the inside of the product. So, I am kind of obsesive compulsive behavior and sometimes I get obsses with washing my hands a lot. I started to get a lot of pealing and extra dryness in my hands and they felt and look pretty bad. I started using this product on a daily basis for about a month, and in just about a month now my hands look and feel great ! No sign of peeling or any dryness at all. Now I am even using it for my arms and elbows skin and it's great ! I am impress with the therapeutic response of this product, it's really amazing ! Highly recomend this non greasy, non sticky fragance free, moisturizing lotion ! And also great price, for this pack of two !

I am blessed with dry, sensitive, and allergy-prone skin. I also suffer from rosacea, so finding a decent moisturizing product has been an almost never-ending quest. Well, my search has ended! I tried this after a Clinique product I had been using for years that I was only semi-allergic to changed its formulation, leaving me blotchy, itchy, and MAD! I do use this product on my face, and have not suffered at all from my usual symptoms! This is the first winter I can remember not being chapped and windburned. There really is no fragrance, it absorbs quickly, and seems to last for a long time. It does not leave me with that orange rind effect, so I'm guessing it really ISN'T clogging my pores. O Hallelujah! I put myself on subscription - I don't want to run out!

Got dry skin? GET THIS! I tried other creams and lotions without much relief. Then my dermatologist told me about Cetaphil which I'd never heard of. Worked wonders! Then suggested it to my wife and my sister who both had skin "issues." Worked great for them.

The tube doesn't call this a facial moisturizer. The tube says, "leaves your body feeling soft, hydrated and smooth." I don't use this on my face at all; I only use it on my hands and arms when winter dryness starts getting to me. This product feels somewhat greasy when first applied, but that feeling usually goes away within a couple of minutes. This product does smooth and hydrate my skin, but only moderately. I do not believe it would help someone with severely dry skin. Also, please note that while it is labeled "fragrance-free," it does contain an ingredient (farnesol) which is primarily a fragrance ingredient.

my son had severe dry skin and eczema. i tried aquaphor thinking it was the best but then my son's pedi said to try cetaphil instead. this stuff works wonders. his skin cleared up and is soft and subtle. we have been using it since my son was 2 months old (he's 14months now). non greasy. soaks in right away and keeps the skin moisturized all day. love love love it.

My hands used to get so dry they'd crack. Even Neutrogena's Swedish Formula wasn't helping. This Cetaphil lotion is what got my poor hands back to normal. I have one tube in our bathroom at home and one in my desk drawer at work. It is also great for legs and arms. My husband uses it on his face and loves it. If you want a pretty fragrance, buy perfume or cologne. If you want soft, happy skin, this is the lotion for you.

An 8 oz tube lasts a pretty long time (months, if not a year).
