I have very sensitive, but dry skin.
Doxxies
I buy it in the six-pack to save money as it is more expensive than regular soap, but so much more worth it for its benefits.

Leaves skin feeling clean and soft and does not dry out my skin.

I have sensitive skin that tends to be dry, so I have to be very careful about what I use as cleansers and moisturizers. I love this cleanser. It is very gentle, I started using it when my daughter was born - she had baby eczema and needed a very soothing wash. This was perfect for her skin condition, and I started to use it when I ran out of my own cleanser and found that it was wonderful for my skin. I think I keep the company in business just with my purchases. I think this would be great for any type of skin, but if you have sensitive skin, I highly recommend it. For those who have sensitive skin and need a great moisturizer, especially if you are looking for a great anti-aging cream, in my travels through sensitive territory I found Bel Essence All-Natural Anti-Wrinkle Treatment - Intensive Anti Aging, Facial Lift Skin Care Formula - 1.5oz. It's all natural, gentle, and the oils in the cream really transform your skin. I had scaly, grey skin on my elbows and hands and within a week of using the cream, the difference was huge, and after about 6 weeks, my elbows and hands are as soft as my 3-year old's. This cleanser and the cream have made a complete difference in my skin.

Update: After getting so many comments on how great my skin looked, I took a good look in the mirror, and saw that the lines on my face from sunbathing so much (I don't do that hardly at all any more), are so much better. The lines on my forehead are so much lighter and the lines at the corner of my eyes are hardly noticeable. Just goes to show that natural and gentle can work just as well as heavy duty treatments!

okay, i never had teen acne, not even in my 20's. I'm 33 now. I started breaking out 2 years ago in January and I have purchased COUNTLESS products (mostly from Amazon because of the reviews) to treat the acne. I mean rose water, putting sandalwood powder, potato skins, lemon juice, masks, peels, all the 'acids' that they sell on this site to fight the acne scars, pills, man you name it. I bought this Cetaphil gentle cleanser 4 weeks ago and my acne .... just ..... stopped. I use it when I shower, then use Cetaphil's Moisturing Lotion while my face is semi-wet after the shower. Trust me, this has been an ef'd up journey that has somewhat zapped me of my self-esteem and confidence and Cetaphil, thus far, has pulled through. I'll update if it fails. Like Drake, y'all can Thank Me Later :) One.

Cetaphil Antibacterial Gentle Cleansing Bar is indeed the optimum choice for my problem skin.

This pH balance non-soap cleansing bar is a super gentle all over body wash. I even use it on my face in lieu of shaving cream - it's that soothing! The antibacterial ingredient - triclosan, also helps protect my freshly shaved face.

CONS:
This stuff's pricey
Cetaphil Antibacterial Cleansing Bar is very soft and it melts away quickly once it's under the shower stream.

TIP: To reduce wastage of this pricey cleansing bar, don't lather up under the shower, lather up your washcloth instead and store your Cetaphil Cleansing Bar away from the shower (I keep mine in a covered soap dish).

This product offers a few buying choices. You can buy Cetaphil Antibacterial Cleansing Bars singly, or you can save some money by buying the six packs using Amazon or other sellers. You can even get Cetaphil six packs using Amazon 'Subscribe & Save'. Great! :))

When I find a product to be excellent, I tend to remain loyal. I may try others, but I return to the one which continues to prove it's excellence year after year. Despite more costly products I've tried as samples, Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser has been my cleanser of choice for many years. I've tried a generic brand from CVS and found it to be much more slimy and thick than the real thing and gave it away to a less scrutinizing customer.

My skin and eyes are extremely sensitive and can become dry, so I am very cautious when trying new products. This one was recommended by a dermatologist and I'm very grateful for the suggestion because it meets my desires in a cleanser. It is extremely gentle, fragrance free and can be used directly on my eyes. I apply it onto my dry face, rub it all over, including the eyelids, then rinse it off and pat my face dry. Although it comes in a pump bottle, I put a little in a sample size bottle because that takes up less space in the medicine cabinet and I never have drips fall anywhere. I wash the little bottle to keep it germ free. I gave a large bottle to my sister because she was so impressed by the cleansing power, too. Her initial reaction was that it was a little slimy, but after using it as I suggested, she agreed that it is a superior product and a bargain. In all honesty, I don't know if she's returned to using CHANEL cleanser, but I am as faithful to Cetaphil as I am to Kiehl's for all other skin care products. If you too have sensitive skin, try the Kiehl's Cucumber Tonic after cleansing for a nice treat.

I have terrible skin - eczema AND acne. This is really the best and only cleanser I can use. It is great for both face and body - my skin is extremely oily on the face and extremely dry everywhere else. This cleanses really well, getting all the excess oil off my face, yet never dries too much. If I use anything else, even for a day, I find that my acne flares up. My skin in dry areas becomes tight and scaly with other cleansers.

I'm not really a fan of Triclosan, either, but I've been using this for years with no apparent adverse effects. According to MD Consult, Triclosan is effective against a variety of bacteria, is popular in healthcare settings, and the only adverse effect listed is possible irritation in some people. It appears that concerns about microbial resistance were possible in theory, but research has shown it is not significant for Triclosan.
