We adore this book! My almost [...] wants to read it everyday. We never read it just once. She loves the illustrations and the rhymes. I can't say enough about how great this book is. Even our 4 month old responds to it!

CHA CHA CHIMPS is monkey business at its best! The cha cha rhythm and rolicking rhyme make Julia Durango's text dance off the pages. Eleanor Taylor's light and lively illustrations are the perfect compliment! A joy!

The only thing that was the drawback on this purchase was the length of time that it took to arrive. It seemed to be slower than some other things that I have purchased. Otherwise, it was fine.

My daughter just turned two and she LOVES this book! My husband and I really enjoy it too. It's a super fun book to read. I highly recommend it for any young child's library!

Two year old loves this book, and she loves monkeys so it was a good fit.

Cha Cha Chimps is such a fun book to read. It has great rhythm and very cute illustrations. Our 2 year old has fun chanting the recurring phrase that is on each page and trying to figure out where the missing monkey is, as we countdown from 10 to 1. Our 5 year old has a great time practicing the various dance moves that are mentioned. By the end of the story, the monkeys all wind up in bed but this isn't your typical bedtime read and after we are finished with the book, our girls always want to get up and dance a quick, little jig.

I first used this book in my special ed. pre-k class and they loved it. It was one of the few books they would sit still for. Now I read it to my toddlers and they love it too. I enjoy reading it, which I think is an important factor in establishing a consistent reading routine with your children.

I read this book to kindergarten and first grade kids, and they always request for me to read it again. And, I don't mind at all. Love to read this book! My own children find it amusing, too. Wonderful beat!
