A very nice crossbow! The fit and finish is outstanding, and I really can understand why this brand of crossbows is being compared to a far more expensive brand. This bow is hard hitting and accurate. I like using the fixed sight, since I think it's far more dependable. I'm more of a practice shooter than a hunter, but for blind or stand hunting this bow could really do the job out to 35 yds. on a deer (best guess). I would not consider this a crossbow for heavier big boned dangerous animals, but for deer, pigs, antelope and maybe elk(?). I find that the aluminum arrows shoot fine, but I suspect that the carbon arrows would be a little better. Depending on your strength and consistency of cocking pull, a cocking rope maybe needed. I prefer learning my bow and doing it the old fashioned way - one less thing to lug around and or lose/break. This is my fifth crossbow and is by far my favorite. In my opinion, this is an outstanding value!

I have been looking to purchase a good quality cheap crossbow. I bought one 2 years and I didn't like it. It looked and felt cheap , trigger pull was ridiculous, I mean to heavy. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on one to use it only 3 or 4 times a year. This crossbow feels and looks like high quality. I have shot this crossbow over 50 times with no wear to the string. It shoots 20 inch carbon bolts with more accuracy than the 17" aluminum bolts that came with it. The red/green dot scope probably would have gotten the job done, but I replaced it with a Barnett multi-reticle crossbow scope. This crossbow with the Barnett scope and 20" carbon arrows shoots 1 inch groups consistent. This crossbow has enough power and accuracy to get the job done. I've been looking for a low cost crossbow with all the features this one has. I will hunt with this crossbow this fall. Very pleased with my purchase.

This crossbow is much nicer than the other budget crossbows I have seen. At 25 yards it will shoot within 1 inch. Either only shoot once or aim at a different spot or you will ruin your arrows. I have shot it at least 100 times with no apparent wear to the string. I use pse viper aluminum arrows with 100 gr points, and carbon express native 100 gr broadheads. I almost never write reviews as I expect products to do what they say they will, but this crossbow far exceeded my expectations.

THIS IS A REALLY NICE CROSS-BOW,I SIGHTED IT IN, AND NOW IT IS DEAD ON WITH EVERY SHOT. I HAVE SHOT 60-80 TIMES AND THERE IS NO APARRENT WEAR ON ANY PART OF THE BOW. I WILL BE SHOOTING THIS A LOT, GETTING READY FOR DEER SEASON THIS YEAR. THE RED DOT SIGHT WAS WAY OFF FOR FIRST SHOT, BUT MAKING THE CORRECT ADJUSTMENTS GOT IT TO WITH-IN 1-2 INCHES OF BULLS EYE. THIS IS A GOOD LOOKING BOW AND IS COMFORTABLE TO HOLD AND SHOOT. THE BOLTS IT CAME WITH ARE NOT THE BEST, BUT THEY DO WORK. I WOULD SUGGEST GETTING SOME BETTER BOLTS FOR LONG TERM SHOOTING OR HUNTING. GOOD LUCK...

The bow stringer slipped off two different times. Both times leaving a nice mark on my arms. I had to jerry rig it just to get the string on the cross bow. Which removed much of the camo covering. It is louder than my .22 when I shoot it. I do not know how I will kill a deer with all the noise it makes. I was able to get it shooting well with 6 shots. It does have more power than my inferno xbow. But is so loud and so hard to put the string on I would not recommend it for hunting.
