Very comfortable flip flops, April 18, 2009
This review is from: Chaco Men's Flip Premium Sandal (Apparel)
By far, these are the most comfortable flip flops I've ever worn. The arch support feels very good and my heel doesn't roll or slide at all. The padding is not too squishy and not too hard. They also look relatively cool and casual, like the ones I'd buy at surf shops, though perhaps not quite that cool. They are stylish without being too formal or fancy.
My pair, size 12, seems about 1/2 a size smaller than that, but I anticipated this based on reviews elsewhere. I normally wear 11.5, and these 12s fit great. I'd gladly pay retail ($50) for these, but look for deals. I found them for $32 with shipping.
I've had plantar fasciitis for 7 years (a fallen arch and heel pain). As a result, I can't walk barefoot for more than 5 minutes without developing heel pain. When I am not at work, and sometimes when I am, I constantly wear running shoes with added arch support. These flips, with nothing added, feel just as good on my bad foot as a running shoe with added support. My toes can get sun again!
They claim, with reason, to be environmentally friendly. I don't know if average flip flops contribute to global warming, so I'll just take Chaco's word for it.

The. Greatest. Flipflop. Ever. Made. Period., August 6, 2009
This review is from: Chaco Men's Flip Premium Sandal (Apparel)
I have worn these traveling the world for 4 years and wearing around town every day of the summer. They still look *new*, and I wear them every day it goes above 70F. These stay STUCK to your feet as the anatomic footbed and longer-than-usual strap work together to keep your foot from sliding out backwards. I've walked safely on concrete, lava rock, slippery logs, and these sandals keep ticking well after others fall apart. They cushion better than regular flops too. I truly think that these will outlast 10 pairs of regular dime store flipflops and are thus worth the price. And you can even resole them through Chaco - what other flipflop can say that!

Still the best flip flop but miss the Vibram sole, December 2, 2009
Still the best Flip Flop due to arch support, comfort, strap and fit. The Grayskull strap has a hip apperance. Too bad Chaco decided to get rid of the Vibram sole in favor of the "recycled" EcoTread which I am sure was done to save $. The EcoTread does not offer the same grip and just feels of lower quality. We will have to see how the tread wear holds up.
