Would be five stars - minus one for the simple fact that the ANKLE part of the strap is NOT adjustable :( This is just dumb. I prefer a more snug fit around the achilles - it fits, although a little loose here, which will take a little getting used to - I wish it was adjustable in this area. And YES the strap overhang is TOO LONG - and I have a fatter foot than most - so this is totally unnecessary and annoying. I can only imagine a person with a more narrow foot, they might not get these snug at all. CHACO are you listening??
They have amazing arch support, I prefer not to use the toe strap but it is optional. The amazing thing is I am now 26 and not only do I still own them but they still are in great condition!!!! YES I have had them for 14 years and still wear them (my feet stopped growing obviously). You can also get the strap replaced but I have not yet had a need to as they are only slightly frayed. If you have flat feet and are looking for a sandal that is comfortable and long wearing you have already found it! Now you just have to fight yourself over the color that you are going to buy.

Love these sandals! Very durable and very comfortable. I have flat feet, and the arch support is great. No back pain like what I got with flip flops. Read morePublished 15 days ago by Allison S.

I like the look of Chaco's but two negatives: the straps are too long and the straps tighten when using them. I will probably not purchase Chaco's again. If you are an 8. Read morePublished 3 months ago by TMoR
