Best Drum video out!,

Chad Smith covers everything in this video from basic rudiments, warming up, tuning your drums, to grace notes. But here is the good stuff: He plays along to all the classics off of Blood Sugar, plus some oldies like "Nobody Wierd like me" and "Higher Ground". Dont forget to check out his original "Fire hat solo", which he does in this video, with the fire hat on! If I am not mistakin, he plays along to: Suck my kiss, Give it away, Breaking the girl, Mellowship Slinky In B Major, My lovely man, Power of Equality, Greeting song, Suck my kiss, If you have to ask, I could have lied, Naked in the Rain and I probably missed a few... At the end during the credits, he plays along with the old song "Fela's C*ck" Towards the begining, Flea joins the video and they play "Nobody Wierd like me", and "Higher ground". They also do a pretty long improv. funky jam that is just so awesome. So you will see Flea on about 85% of the dvd, AND you get to see Chad's sweet vintage Mustang at the begining...
Buy this dvd!!! You wont be dissapointed, even if you are a RHCP fan, and you dont play an instrument, you will still enjoy this video. Thats how good this dvd is!!! Chad is amazing, I learned a whole lot from watching this drum video. It is much better than Carter Beauford's(DMB) "Under the table and drumming" dvd, So buy this one, Buy it! Buy it now! What are you waiting for!!!!???!!!

Funky, Tasty and all things you EXPECT from Chad and Flea.,

I don't OWN this yet, but I've downloaded the jam session between Flea and Chad off the internet and I must say, they are an amazing duo. Flea's slap-dash playing is incredible and Chad's soulful, rock-bottom, emotion-driven grooves are the most breath-taking I have ever seen. Despite the fact that this was made in the early 90's (Evident with the "Guns'n'Roses" hair and the high-top NIKE shoes(I want a pair, myself)) it is an awsome find. Also, Chads drumset of the time is something to be admired. But overall, this is a very impressive piece of drumming sensation put to DVD. Any fan of Chad Smith and his drumming should get this--Buy NOW!.
