This chair mat does exactly what the description says. It's sturdy, has not cracked, and was delivered FLAT. (That is a good thing, if you have ever received one rolled up, you know what I'm talking about!) I would recommend this to anyone needing a good mat for your carpet.

Having bought a couple of these types of mats, this one is a superior product. Previously, my biggest frustration with these mats is the plastic is too soft. I'm a heavy guy and the chair "sinks" into the mat. This is a solid hard plastic that stands up to use.

I had 27 windows open when I was researching mats and ordered this one. I was googling hardwood floor mats, but this has those divets and is definitely for use on rugs or carpets, it would damage wooden floors.

That being said, for carpets it's an excellent mat, strong and a great size. It arrives flat packed and has no curl in it. I'm going to return it and see if they have a hardwood version.

I also want to add that they don't have the simple return philosophy that Amazon does, and that I am used to. There was a 5% restocking fee that I had never come across on Amazon before, (which I negotiated to be waived as I bought another product from them) and there was no return label automatically provided, you had to contact a carrier yourself to organize. I think that these differences should be made more clear up front, because they can surprise you. That being said, their customer service was consistently pleasant and helpful, but it is going to cost me $20 to return this (after paying $13 to get it shipped to me, so essentially I paid $33 to look at it and say no)
