I have been listening to Sophia's new album a lot lately and I am really enjoying it. I study the Qabalah, work with the sephiroths and hearing an album that addresses these mystical realms has opened up a wonderful new level for me, especially the way she utilized the key harmonic vowel sounds.

Here are a few comments I have about the tracks. 1st chakra- A native flute sounds from the cry of Malkuth introducing the warm Sophia-pure magical tones and sweetly vocal story against a synth sky and everywhere we are "Uh" One. 2nd chakra- To activate Yesod, Sophia calls Uma, an aspect of Aphrodite to stir the fire with her Cosmic wave. Ooo is her song. 3rd chakra - Out of Hod/Netzach comes a soft "oh" ringing, vibrating, bringing empowerment and manifestation. 4th chakra- This Mayan Prayer of "Ah" carries peace and compassion for all hearts to be open as one. 5th chakra - Hesed and Geburah are called with "Eh" for the Father - Mother song to be One and be done. 6th chakra - Divine Cosmic, sparkling stars of Binah and Hokhmah arrive. Their birth cry of "ih" comes with divine wisdom and vision. 7th chakra - We arrive by "Eee" opening the way to Kether. We come to be stilled in the knowledge of "I am that I am" in the Holy seat of the Holy crown. And integration - A microcosmic Orbit of all the sounds join in a glory of thanks to Ganesha who removed all the obstacles to bring us this harmonic union of our Chakras.

There is no need however, for anyone to know anything about the Qabalah or the chakra; as this music is attuning, refreshing, uplifting and beautiful, the way it sounds and the way it makes one feel!

This album is not normally the kind of music I listen to but I have to say it was so good that it made me stop and ask, "What is this?" and "Who is it by?" Wonderful album! I recommend it to anyone interested in body, mind and spirit music.

This is one of the best new age cd's I own. Sophia's voice is like an angel. Track 4 is my favorite (for the heart chakra). I highly recommend Sophia's Healing Chakra Chants to anyone who is looking for soothing and meaningful/spiritual music.

This is timed perfectly for an hour meditation, i sampled many different new age cd's for meditation, and by far this has bee the best sounding one. It has notes/tones that will activate your 7 main chakras, and the first time I did it i could feel mine rotating and warming up (im sensitive to this). This is relaxing and her voice and band is deeply into it. They maybe could have put a little more into 1 or 2 tracks, but overall I would reccomend this to anyone looking to reach discover their true selfs.

I purchased this cd a month ago and was pleasantly surprised to see it listed on your page. I am enjoying Sophia's rich and penetrating voice. I used her music while I was having a massage and it did transcend me into a calming and relaxing state. I believe Chakra Healing Chants can be used in many healing methods.

I've been a fan of Sophia's music for years, but her new release Chakra Healing Chants from Sequoia Records is far and away her best work yet. These 8 new tracks recorded with some amazing artists including Raphael and David Gordon and produced by Rasa's Hans Christian are absolutely incredible with each being perfectly tuned and crafted to stimulate and harmonize each of the 7 sacred energy centers with a final 8th track that integrates them all. I have been using this CD along with my energetic healing work for the past few weeks and both my clients and I have been incredibly moved by these stirring tracks which penetrate right to the core of one's being; creating a mood of deep relaxation and bliss that's the perfect environment for healing work. The music is serenely peaceful and utilizes chants and words of power from a variety of sacred traditions including the Hebraic Qaballah and Sanskrit. I highly recommend this CD to anyone involved in the healing arts and look forward to more from Sophia soon.

I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO THIS CD AND I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE I KNOW. IT'S SOOTHING YET MAKES YOU WANT TO MOVE. SINGING ALONG WITH IT AND DOING THE CHANTS IS VERY CLEARING AND ENERGIZING. READ THE WORDS IN THE BOOKLET AND SEE HOW IT FEELS TO SING THEM WITH THE CD. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE THAT NEEDS A LIFT.

Energizing and relaxing at the same time; comforting and inspiring as the chants reach into your heart of hearts. A beautifully produced CD.

I bought this hoping that it was serene mantras for Yoga. I was happy to find out that not only is it wonderfully relaxing chanting and instruments from India, but it is also one of the most beautiful CDs I have heard in many months. This is without a doubt the best meditative chanting music I have every heard! There is something so soothing and comforting about these sacred chants, that I have not taken it out of my CD player since I got it a couple weeks ago. I recommend this to anyone who is looking of uplifting music for Yoga or just for some comforting sounds to create a peaceful retreat. Highest recommendation!

This album is a five star plus! I Love it!!! Sophia's music feels like a lullaby that moves and calms me. Her voice is like an angel that heals. This is a must buy!
