A Chakra Meditation

I have turned on so many friends and family to this meditation. It's absolutely incredible. I highly recommend it. It really takes you on a journey to your soul. Put on the headphones and prepare for something fantastic.

This is the first of Glenn Harrold's meditations that I've tried and I'm now shopping for more. It's true that you get more out of it when you use headphones - awesome experience! The sound "travels" across the speakers from right to left which begins to feel circular and complementary as you are asked to visualize a whirling orb of color.

The overall meditation is relaxing as well as refreshing and the background music is the perfect complement to the affirmations. There are two tracks - a 28 minute and 42 minute - I prefer the longer version as the timing and progression from one section to the next feels perfect to me.

This CD is now part of my "Must Have" library.

This is the first CD I have tried by Glenn Harold. I had tried another CD by someone else and it was ok, but not as relaxing as I wanted. This one blows me away! This is not even his Sleep CD and I usually don't make it past the first chakra! Which is something for me because it usually takes me forever to fall asleep and I don't sleep well during the day (I work 12hr night shifts in a hospital) I sleep so much better even in a short amount of time. The more I listen to it (in my sleep) the more I feel its affects. The other day when it got to the end of the session and he was slowly waking you up with visualizations, I was still asleep but lighter and I actually started seeing the objects he was talking about with my eyes closed in vibrant colors which is not usual for me. I felt wonderful when I woke up. I never really had much faith that hypnotherapy worked until now. I can't wait to try more of his CD's and to tell my friends!

Oh and for those worried about wrapping the headphone cable around your neck, try securing it loosely above your head. As for me, I usually toss and turn and tear the bed up when I sleep. Not any more, I'm so relaxed I don't move at all!

This CD is very powerful. The voice is very soothing and for each chakra the background voices hum the tones in the actual frequency for each chakra. I was able to feel the energy flow within a few days in the chakras. I have Deepak Chopra's chakra meditation CD as well and this is definitely better.

I listen to this CD almost nightly. So far, I've had many visions where I see very clear, video-like scenes play out in front of me while I have my eyes closed. One scene, I saw an old town with one fast moving person and the view narrowing on that individual. Another one I saw three moving viking like ships swaying side to side. I believe my third eye has opened. Another time I had an out of body experience that lasted the duration of the second track. I floated to the top of the ceiling then floated down beyond my body. I opened my eyes and saw a room full of electric guitars and folding chairs. I meandered around the room and ended up in another place with Egyptian hieropglyphics and drawings on two walls and on the ceiling. I heard the CD counting down and I returned to my physical body.

This is my first meditation experience that was truly possible. His voice was soothing and brought me to a calm place that I could stay in for the entire length of the meditation. Amazing how with each chakra I experienced a difference sensation. Each meditation brings a new experience, and a sense of renewed energy. I use it after a accupuncture session. Excellent, do not deny yourself the gift of a beautiful meditation.

I love this CD, and it has become my current favorite. Yes, Glenn's accent is a bit startling at first, but his voice is friendly and soothing, and I just LOVE the music! I wish he also would put out a CD of just the music (I believe it is his own composition). I love the musical notes sung for each chakra.

The pace is just right, not too fast and not too slow. When I don't have much time, or feel very tired, I use the shorter meditation. The only problem is that it's so relaxing, it's easy to fall asleep during it.

I find it very easy to visualize the chakras with this CD, although I can't say that I "feel" anything when I go from one chakra to the other. However, I feel very relaxed afterwards and my dreams have improved. This is probably due to meditation in general, but I do really like this meditation CD the best, and it encourages me to keep meditating. I like the fact that his visualizations are simple. Some guided meditation CDs are so full of complicated imagery suggestions, it becomes like mental acrobatics -- a bit too much at times. Even though I am a visual person and good at picturing things, I tend to feel mentally tired by all the imagery. Glenn's visualization suggestions are just right, and I like the affirmations and the fact that they repeat, first in one ear and then the other, which I have heard is useful in reaching both sides of the brain. Don't know how true this is, but it feels effective!

Don't let the comments about Glenn's accent deter you from trying this CD. After the first minute or two, he will feel like a comforting friend!

This meditation cd is better than I had hoped for. Of all hypnosis cd's I listen to, this one provides me the greatest relaxation.

I bought this CD after reading the reviews for it. Although I can meditate on my own, I like good quality guided meditations and music as a tool to create my meditation ambience.

This is an exceptional CD that fits both those qualification. In addition, Glenn has a wonderful meditation voice - yes, there is such a voice. I also enjoyed the toning of the musical note representative of each chakra level.

Please be careful coming out of the meditations - the voice and technique are a wonderful professional blend, and are hypnotic. I did not realize there was a count-back at first, and was light headed coming out of the meditation. The count-back will effectively return you to present-moment reality.

This CD is good for a beginner, intermediate and advance disciple of meditation, and will offer something for each level of student. Big thumbs up. I would also suggest any CDs from the Monroe Institute and would consider Glenn's work on the same level, or at least as palatable as the Monroe audio CDs.

Of all the chakra meditation DVDs, CDs, and books I've purchased over the years, Glenn Harrold's is by far the very best. Absolutely wonderful.
