The healer simply projects that color of healing energy. By projecting the color of light that resonates with the corresponding chakra, that stressed chakra is stimulated and strengthened to resume natural rejuvenation within the body. The book shows how to manifest colors or even musical notes that will resonate harmonically with chakras to restore them as energy generators of good health.

Von Braschler is a former newspaper and magazine editor. He writes and leads workshops in the areas of consciousness development, time, chakra healing, pet healing, and dream work. He is a trained massage therapist, pet therapist, energy healer, and Kirlian photographer. Von has appeared on radio and television and hosted his own weekly radio program, "Healing with Your Pet: Our Psychic, Spiritual Connection." His forthcoming book will examine time, timelessness, and time travel as viewed by scientists and mystics (Tentative release date from Inner Tradition/Bear & Co. is early 2012). Von is originally from Seattle, but now lives and works in St. Paul, MN.

Chakra Reading and Color Healing is a step-by-step guide for beginners and experienced energy healers. This is a practical book for anyone interested in learning how to use chakra energy to enhance their health or help someone else. The book outlines each chakra, the corresponding body function and explains the color associations. I like this book especially for the meditation and visualization techniques used in energy healings. The easy-to-follow instructions helps prepare the mind for healing work and assists in projecting the appropriate healing color. I also appreciate that the information in this book explains techniques for both diagnosis and healing. If you are interested or new to energy healings, this book will get you started on the right path.

I purchased this book as a compliment to what I am learning in school. It is amazing! Very easy to understand, very well written, and a fantastic source to return to when I am working on clients. It has sections that speak about how to prepare yourself to read, actual reading, interpretation, as well as an entire section of exercises to practice on everything from clients, family, pets, even plants!

As a future Holistic Health Practitioner I would recommend this book very every library that is based in holistic health. A tremendous reference for energy healing!
