This is one of Laswell's spoken word projects, like "Myth" and Hashiheen", although I prefer the former two. I wish he would still produce such projects. The stories are fun to listen to and the music suitably low key, emphasizing the word not music. Apparently, the music was reused as the excellent "With a Heartbeat."

Laswell and crew drone on the background while different voices tell us the story of Chakra.Except for track 3 and 4 where Sanders cuts loose there is little Laswell style cooking.This is a spoken word cd the music in the background is very low key, slow tempo drones that remain the same on all 7 tracks.Laswell fans have plenty of better choices unless you like people talking.Even if you could remove the talking the music is low energy that goes nowhere its similar to Rasa but lower energy.
