I bought this DVD as I love Paul Grilley's work. I've read lots about the chakra's and energy medicine - and I've never quite gotten why it's important to add this element to my spiritual practices. To be honest,what I've read has felt pretty "woo-woo". Paul showed me why it's important to add chakra theory and meditation to my spiritual practice within about 5 minutes of the DVD beginning. He presents a wealth of common sense practical information so that I could "eat the elephant" one bite at a time so to speak and make this material applicable to my daily life. Basically, what he says is the reason we want to open up to chakra theory and meditation is to change our samsaras (i.e. which I roughly define as clinging on to people, places and things in an unhealthy way) and improve our lives both on this plane and beyond. I'm not nearly as concise or articulate as Paul and his material transcends my verbal abilities but suffice it to say that my life is forever changed as a result of learning this material and putting it into practice. He is a brilliant scholar who can speak plain English so that people can understand that these ancient teachings are deeply practical in modern life. You owe it to yourself to explore this material. . . you won't be sorry!

As a long time student of Taoism, Chi-Kung, and yoga, I was very interested in this DVD. This being my first Paul Grilley exposure, I was skeptial. I found that he is very knowledgeble and is a very good teacher as he breaks complex concepts down to easily understandable bits. The DVD is well done, professional and is an excellent purchase for the serious student of the energy arts. At the end he ties in the Charakas with the qigong meridians. I learned a great deal from this video and would have had to read quite a few books to gleen this much kowledge in just 4 hours with the DVD.

I've recently been introduced to Paul Grilley's work & I am thoroughly impressed. This DVD contains information that went way beyond my yoga teacher training, which was heavily steeped in interesting Tantric philosophy. Paul's manner is straightforward & exceptionally clear, so anyone can understand the important aspects of chakras-- what they are, what they influence, & how we can work with them. He explains things in a scientific manner, by which I mean there isn't any froo-froo on top of what he shares here, making this information even more accessible to all kinds of people. I love that he makes a point of being so inclusive, pointing out that this information can work for people of many different religious backgrounds.

I believe that anyone interested in spiritual disciplines will greatly benefit from this DVD.

Lots of useful information on the ability of the body and the differences faced by bone structures. Good yang sequence, very creative flows. The yin is fully explained and well done! I loaned it to other instructors and they bought copies too after viewing. Highly recommend to anyone wanting more knowledge to further their practice.

Paul Grilley's video is an excellent presentation on the chakras. Paul gives practical information in a format that is easy to understand. He explains esoteric knowledge in a clear, concise manner. Each section left me wanting to watch and know more. This video is a must-see for reiki practitioners, yoga students or anyone on the spiritual path. I can't wait to read his other books. I was curious as to how Paul Grilley would handle this subject, wondering if it would be as matter of fact as his others. It is well done, and he does use the familiar, down-to-earth, matter of fact manner. Very nicely done.

As he works through the theory it got more difficult for me, so I watched it by sub-section at a time. That worked like a charm, and the information 'stuck' with me. It's a great introduction to Chakra Theory and Meditation indeed.

the DVD is the second DVD of Paul Grilley I ordered and as the first one it is very organised, well explained and for me perfect learning material. It makes it easy to follow this complex subject and fun to listen his way of explanation.
So for me it is a perfect DVD I will use a lot as reminder or refreshener of the Chakra Theory and meditation subject. I an highly recomend it.

I just received today and have watched the entire DVD! Paul Grilley presents the Chakra theory clearly and his presentation, as usual, is great. I highly recommend to anyone searching for more information on chakras and meditation.

Just what I needed to learn how to relax more. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to relax and meditate.

I really love Paul Grilley's work. He gives all the information that is contained in my yoga teacher training books (studying via the Bihar school of yoga) in a simple and effective way. To me, he is a liaison between the guru's and the layman, making information available to anyone in a form that makes everyone feel comfortable.
